Georgian Door Knobs - Ebonised Reeded (pair)

I have been looking for ebonies door knobs to match the originals in our Edwardian home and vintage door knobs have not only made that possible but have matched the style and dimensions exactly. If it wasn’t for the fact the originals have a rose petal brass mount as opposed to the round ones you wouldn’t know that they were replacements.
As an opportunity for improvement could you offer these with a rose petal base?

These Georgian style door knobs were so much nicer than I expected them to be - they are nice and 'chunky' (I thought they may be a bit weedy looking on my old doors) and look really authentic! I like that the brass isn't lacquered too so it will dull down over time. Couldn't be happier and the price is great too.

These doorknobs feel good in your hand and have made a real difference to the doors in our Georgian house. They are very well made but I'd advise those with an old house and old doors to expect that some doors and locks will need tweaking to ensure all fits well. Really pleased with them but glad to have had an experienced carpenter on hand!

As advertised. They're really great quality, good weight. We're slowly renovating our house and these have really elevated the whole place. I recommend cutting a felt washer to pad things out between the knob and door, helps make it feel less rattly.

This door knob has raised the standards no end. Easy to fit as well.

These are really excellently made and very robust. There are more expensive ones for sale elsewhere, but I won't bother, you won't get better ones for the extra expense.

I'm replacing all knobs in a period property I'm renovating and these are just what I was looking for. Elegant, well priced, well made, look just as an original period piece would. Great for non standard door widths and you can adjust the fit on the threaded spindle to fit any door. Only four stars as the screws that hold the rose in place are too long and fiddly to fit as they go in at a slight angle. One of them reached the lock in the door and stopped it from working properly so I had to unscrew it a bit. It works well now, but shorter screws would do the same job without the fitting hassle. Overall, the knob looks extremely smart, feels very secure and sturdy. I would recommend it!

Excellent quality and exactly as expected and described. If you haven't fitted doorknobs before, they can be a bit of an issue, but really once you sit down and think methodically how they work and are put together it becomes really quite easy. They fit and work perfectly and are very aesthetic in our period property. I am sure the other products they sell are equally of a similar standard. Just a pity they didn't do the finger plates I also needed.

Having just moved house and added two new doors, I was on the look out for some vintage style door handles. These are perfect. Look very in keeping with the doors and feel and look very good quality.

Some of our doors have been wood grain painted in the past and we fitted the Victorian Beehive knobs on this side of the door (hallway) and then fitted the Georgian Reeded knobs on the reverse painted side of the door(interior room)
They are "proper" well manufactured knobs that will look fantastic for years to come.

I ordered 7 door handles which were delivered within 24 hours. Each was properly packed with all the attachments and allen key. Very reasonably priced compared with other places. The only issue I had was one of the screw heads broke while fitting - otherwise very happy with the everything.

It took me a while to find these and they are exactly what I wanted. The delivery was efficient and the service professional. The product is of very good quality and they look great. I would have preferred if the hole for the grub screw on the collar was equidistant from the screw holes that attach it to the door. It is a tiny thing. I would recommend these and I would buy them again.

I recently purchased two pairs for our Edwardian flat. They are now in situ and look wonderful. These were great value, and look good with the solid wood knobs and the heavy brass collars. After searching everywhere for affordable yet period style handles I stumbled across these reproduction Georgia handles from Coventry, well what a find. They far out weigh anything I have seen anywhere else for style, quality and affordability. I can't wait for my next purchase and will definitely use them again.

I am a very thrifty shopper so had spent a long time trying to find authentic handles which were made well for the price, without them looking cheap. I bought these to replace old Bakelite door handles in my Edwardian house and I'm delighted with them. Unfortunately one of the grub screws did a disappearing act today but I rang the company and they immediately sprang into action and put a replacement in the post for me. So - good product and good customer service. What's not to like?!

I live in a Georgian townhouse and the handles look great! The brass isn't polished so would work well with both chrome and brass finishes. They look as if they belonged to the house, great replicas and of solid quality. I fitted them with 120mm length latches for that architectural finish! Great product!

absolute 10 out of 10 service...phoned them up for details, they answered straight away and gave great service the product arrived the next day....regarding the products they are absolutely fantastic and so cheap...they look totally autenetic...a few years back i bought a load of real antique door knobs like these - they were no better and three times the price - actually these are better as all of the componants are new and working.....dont know how they do it for the price - under £50 for 3 with all fittings.....

So, yes, you do indeed get a PAIR of beautifully made doorknobs for your money, where most online suppliers' products are well over double the price. I've recently bought and been refurbishing a Victorian property. I had been looking around for a few weeks to find reproduction handles to match some originals already in the property. I was so please when I came across these. Although, they are not exactly the same as the original design they are very close and look great. These handles are also very reasonably priced considering other online retailers wanted £30 + for very similar products!

Like me, you might come across these doorknobs after an extensive search for quality reproductions to suit your Victorian house. Like me, you might stop at the picture and think - "those look great"... but then be slightly concerned by the fact that these are only around a tenner a set when everything else you've looked at is over £30.

Worry not! These are the best quality I have ever seen - far, far better than the other repros I bought a while back for £40 a pair. Yes, you really do get 2 handles for your tenner, crafted from quality wood that truly looks and feels like real ebony. And the brass is thick, has a handcrafted appearance and is gently aged to fit perfectly into a period setting.

I do not know how they do it for the money. I am only glad they do!

The Victorian style door knobs I bought are excellent quality for the price. I've just replaced every door knob in my house with these, they work great for rim locks and normal doors. Fitting and adjustment is very easy. The company were very fast at delivery. All in all an excellent buy.
